Clubs 3

Here are details of all of the Clubs currently on offer at Barnehurst.

Chess Club

For Year 6 every Monday lunchtime (12.45 - 1.15pm) in Miss Garnener's Room with Miss Gardener and Mrs Piper.

Grass Roots Football

For Years 4 & 5 on Mondays after school (3.30-4.30pm) on the school field with Arsenal Grass Roots coaches. Please note that a fee is payable to join this club - ask at the school office for details. Children should be collected from Mrs Mayston's room.

Recorder Club

All children are welcome on Tuesday lunchtimes (12.45-1.15pm) in Miss Gardener's room with Miss Camsey and Miss Gardener.

Russian Club

For Year 6 children. Children get to learn about Russian culture and learn to speak basic Russian in this club run by Miss Gardener. It takes place on Tuesdays after school (3.30-4.15pm) in Miss Gardener's room.

Writers' Workshop

For Years 3 & 4 every Tuesday after school (3.30-4.15pm) in the ICT suite. Children get to write in all kinds of genres and styles in this club run by Mr Davies and Mrs Amos.

Cross Stitch Club

For Year 6 children every Wednesday lunch time (12.45-1.15pm) in Mr Drury's room with Mrs Amos.

Football Training

For the Y5 & Y6 football teams on Wednesdays after school (3.30-4.15pm) with Mrs Mayston on the school field.

Girls'football club

For girls in Year 6, the club is run every wednesay on the school field. For information on how to join see Mrs Mayston or Mr Drury.

Animation Club

For Years 4 & 5 after school (3.30-4.15pm) on Wednesdays in the ICT suite with Miss Gill. For more information click here.

Travel Club

For the Year 6 children who are going on the school journey to Holland. Thursday lunchtimes (12.45-1.15pm) in MissGardener's room with Miss Camsey.

For Year 5 every Friday lunchtime (12.45-1.15pm) in Miss Gill's room with Mrs Amos and Mrs Piper.

Home Study Club

For all years. Earn awards by studying at home. Whatever your interests, you will can probably find an award for you. You can work at your own pace and hand your project in to Miss Camsey when it's finished. For details of the awards, click here.
